Late greetings from Levi!

Actually I visited Levi already in February, but I thought that it would be nice to share something about my trip also here. This was my second time in Levi and I hope that this wasn´t the last time. I think that Levi has the best pistes in Finland, snowboarding there is just awesome!

Levi is also one of the destinations that we will introduce in our Lapland Meeting Guide. I got some useful information about the destination when I was there, asked some questions from the local employees about business travelling and I also took some photos. Unfortunately I didn´t get as many pictures as I was planning to take, sometimes I didn´t even see where I was snowboarding, thanks to the terrible fog..

During my stay I was snowboarding every day, but I also took a horseback-riding trip. We were riding 1,5 hours in the middle of a forest. That was exciting and we saw also a fox there. Levi offers a wide range of different kind of activities to choose from. I think that it offers something from every taste.

I was surprised that there were hardly any tourists in Levi, but I think the reason for the emptiness was that the week I spent there, was the week before school´s winter brakes started. For me, the emptiness was just a positive thing –no lines or rushes anywhere.

I think the landscape in Levi is just breath-taking. You can see fells all around, trees are covered with snow and I felt like the time was stopping. Not bad! I also really like the atmosphere in Levi –it´s relaxing and international.  During my stay I noticed that some tourists were for example from Russia, Germany, Estonia and USA.

Can´t wait for the next trip there..
